My husband did an upgrade on his cellphone contract telephonically with Virgin Mobile. Proof of payment was sent through with a delivery address of where the phone would be sent to once ready for delivery he was told by a person that the upgrade / phone would be delivered in 5 days. Today (2 days after the upgrade was done) he contacts Virgin Mobile to confirm when delivery will take place and then gets told that he would only receive the upgrade in 2 weeks as the courier is suddenly on leave. This is unacceptable!! The upgrade should be delivered in 5 days as discussed from the beginning, surely there is not only one courier company which Virgin Mobile uses. Should he wish to go to the store in East gate to collect we have to pay an additional R200.00 which does not even make sense... I have never come across such bad service each year when it is is time to upgrade our contracts we experience some sort of a problem and yet we have stayed with Virgin Mobile...
