Account still debited after arrangement was made

I called Vodacom customer care line from my landline stating that i will be making a Cash payment and that they should please not debit my account as this will result in extra bank charges. They then locked my headset which i could do nothing with! not make or receive anything! All this happend before the arraged "debit order" date! I made the Cash payment before the "debit order" date so that my headset could be reconnected! This did not work at all!!! When i called the to have my headset reconnected the following day i was told that it couldnt be done as i have not made a payment! i told the lady assisting me that i have made the payment and the gentle man in the store told me it would take 24 hours for the line to be reconnected however i could give the Customer Care line a call as the payment should reflect within 4 hours. This did not happen. I have been trying to have my headset reconnected whole day! all i hear is the payment wasnt made! I told the lady i spoke to again that i made a cash payment as i made an arrangement to do so. she told me that the cash payment reflects on there system aswell as the "debit order" payment!!!
