I have been with Mtn since 1999 and having spent on average R2000 a month with them I think their service levels stink. On Wednesday I called in to get an early termination quote as my contract expires on 21 December 2013. I spoke to a lady in the call centre and she said that Retentions department give out this info. I was put through to Retentions and after 28 minutes I called the call centre again from another line while holding on to the original call. I vented my dissatisfaction to the call centre agent and asked to speak to a supervisor however he was on another call. A few minutes later she came back to me and I told I wanted retentions to call me back. She said she would e-mail them to contact me but that they would only attend to me the next day which was fine as it was already 16h30. I am still waiting. Ref no.. All of that was still while I was still holding for retentions on the original call. I held up after 44 minutes listening to that music. It is absolutely shocking to wait that long. This is my most recent bad experience with Mtn. There is a long list. I will post them in due course. Don't mind paying for service - if it exists- at Mtn's rates- not!
