Last week Friday Morning I dropped my Samsung S4 and the screen cracked, so took I it in to the Menlyn Branch Vodacom Store. I checked in and all was fine. Yesterday, I received a message from Vodacom saying that I could collect the phone. I went to Vodacom, but when I arrived, the new screen did not even respond at all, absolutely nothing. I cant seem to understand how Vodacom doesn't test the phones that have been sent in for repairs, as now I had to make an unnecessary trip, and will be without my phone for another two weeks. My second problem is the fact that I asked to speak to the technician who worked on my phone and the representative went to the back, came back laughing and said that technicians do not speak to customers. I find it to be utter rubbish that the technician does not speak to the customer as he/she is responsible for my phone, clearly he should not be in the job he/she is currently in as he/she doesn't even do the job properly. I have an upgrade due on one of my phones, but i wont even bother renewing it with vodacom as they are utterly useless. All my other accounts will also be ported to another network when they are due for renewal.
