I bought 2G of data to top up my account at MTN and was advised to use the IPAD app to upload it. I did this in the store and when the app was not showing a balance, I was told not to worry as they may just be a delay and to try that evening. I did and there was no data. A different MTN store then told me that the app doesn't work and that the data I loaded was sent to another number. I have now spend 2 weeks trying to get this reversed and found out today that the data was somehow loaded onto the consultant who helped me's phone and I only found that out after chasing MTN for feedback. Apparently the consultant was told to buy me the data and load it directly to my sim but I was not advised of this and I have no idea if this has happened. Instead of MTN reimbursing me immediately and dealing with their consultant separately - they are abdicating responsibility and pushing the consultant to reimburse. This whole process has just been beyond unacceptable
