Billed for consultants Negligence

On 12 Oct'13 i upgraded my contract to an iPhone (SmartL data Package) at the above mentioned supplier, upon upgrading i was advised by Sash (consultant) that my new contract will be taken into effect as of 1 Nov'13 even though the sim card will be activated on the day and that she would advise me taking a once off data bundle for the remainder of this month not to be over charged on data. she then forgot to do the sim swap and as a result forgot to add the once off data bundle. 3days later (15oct'13) my sim was still not activated and i called to query this and they activated it immediately, however still neglecting to add the data bundle. today i heard in a vodashop that my data bill is R1600 for 800mb data used. i then called cellucity to get clarification and no-one could help me because there were no managers available "he was only getting back at 4pm and leaves for home at 16:30", and i was unable to escalate the issue. i also just called vodacom call centre and they said that a data package was loaded on the 18th. so i now have a data bundle 10days after my upgrade as well as a R1600 bill that i should not be liable for as it was negligence by the consultant.
