Applied on Monday 02/12/2013 for cellphone contract, which was approved within an hour - only good part to story. They could not issue phone due to system error, same thing on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning they could not issue phone as apparently a blank number was issued, in the afternoon they had no stock. This all happened at Sandton. Thursday send me to Benmore as they had stock, after promosing to send documentation I had to provide copies again. Received phone and activation supposed to take 2-24hours. It is now Tuesday 10/12/2013 still not activated, keep getting different excuses from everybody I call. Excuses include, system errors, being given a prepaid number, blocked from actvation que etc. Everybody also promise to call back and keep in the loop, of about 8 people I talked to, only one (Nash) actually had the decency of calling back. Moving back from the US, this was my first experience again with SA customer service - really ridicilous! I bought a car and rented a house within less time than getting something as easy as a phone!
