SIM SWAP Woes

Got my new phone today, decided to call Cell C Direct @ 11:30 to activate my sim card so that i can use it. SIM SWAP details get done and by 17:00 still no sim swap has happened and i'm sitting with a dead phone.
Phone the Call Centre again only to be told that this will only be done on monday!!!
What on earth is that going to help me?
Whole weekend without a working phone.
