I have had the most unpleasant experience with Vodacom. I had an iphone 5 delivered on the 25/01/2013; and this Iphone did not send smses to any phone; other than an iphone. So I called Vodacom and was told 3 different ways to fix the phone; of which none worked. Eventually i spoke with someone who said they will send Vodacom direct to fetch and replace the phone as this is a software corruption issue. I was then called in the week by someone else who told me that this would not happen and I should go to Vodacare in Eastgate. Which i did do. Vodacare in Eastgate were most helpful; although they were not sure why I had been sent there. They updated and restored the software; but it still did not resolve the issue. So it was detremined that this was an OBF (out of box failure) Fair enough - but now to find someone who would take the phone back was very difficult. The gentleman Marke called in a favour with the Vodacare downstairs who agreed to take the phone. BUt then the onus was on me to prove delivery. So after 40 mins on the phone with Vodacom I eventually got an invoice emailed to me; only because I had written the tracking number down. I was however not offered a loan phone; no
