I recently move from Pretoria to Fishhoek. I then made use of the promotion Telkom whereby if you move your line you get a free cordless phone. As soon as my line was installed, I went to the long beach Telkom shop, they don't have stock and didn't know when they would get in. They gave me there number which no one ever answered. After many visits to the shop, 3 weeks later I finally had my phone.
This afternoon (31/01/2012) when unboxing the phone for the first time I discovered that one of the LEDs on the phone's display was dead. I then took it back to the shop. The person at the shop took the phone to back where I overheard her and a male colleague say, "This guy always complains, HAHA this is not such a big deal". The phone was then brought back to me, and I was told that it would not be exchanged as it was a gift, even though it was bran new and still in the box.
Thinking logically about this, it makes no sense. If you are the unlucky guy that gets the broken phone to bad so sad
