No Upgarde allowed cos I dont Spend enuf on my acc

Was not gonna do this, But i think that others should be warned of this little HICCUP that Vodacom seems to have. My current upgrade is due in March 2013. BUT my current cell which is a Nokia E7 is once again giving me trouble, and I was hoping for a premature UPgrade, was fully prepared to extend my contract if need be,
I was told i do not gualify because, and I quote:
"The average spend on your account must be R800 and more"
I live according to a strict budget and find no logical reason in overspending and not being able to pay my monthly account.
I would say this is plain and simple Daylight - Maybe I should cancel my contract when it comes to an end??
