How hard can buying phone be!

Called to order via website, spoke to a very helpful lady. Got a credit score of G300 whatever that is and was told I could not get the phone I wanted as it was a low score. I explained my issue (Ex-Director Altech Autopage, from UK, just got SA ID number, paid for everything incl car, house with cash therefore no history on credit report. Was asked to send in ID, Bank Statements and Salary slip which I did and heard nothing back! Tried to call on 08217844 - have been cut off 3 times as agent attempted to put me through to acquisitions!
