8Ta & TELKOM NEVER AGAIN

I had the unfortunate experience of applying for a laptop contract with 8ta Maponya. Dealt with Wesley, I have never seen someone do their job so slow. I was told I will receive feedback on Sunday, no one bothered to call me until I called back to enquire on the status. I was told by Wesley that he will have a look & call me back. I was told my application is some que as the system did not decline or approve.

When I called again I was told it was declined due to a low score? Really? Me low score? Anyways I asked Karabo from the Main street branch to explain what the low score means as in light of being declined I have received an online credit report & all seems well.

She advised me to re-submit my application which I did. Promised to call back and never did until I sent her email enquiring. She then proceesded to ask me to send her my Trans union report as they do not have access to ITC which I refused to do as I believe that is private. How do you say I have a low credit score yet you do not have access to ITC? Shocking.

I advised her to cancel my application and I will also be cancelling my Telkom landline. I'm certain MTN will welcome my business. Never again 8ta/Telkom.
