I was previously a subscriber to Credit Health monthly report. I had an issue with them last year and questioned why the queries they ran were being counted on my Transunion report. I complained on Hellopeter and was told that these enquiries most definitely does not count.
Unfortunately this is not the case. My proof and reasons are stated below:
I did a Transunion report and score today, 22 Jan 2013. On the report, under the credit score section, it suggests to better my score i should do 2 things, one of which is " You have applied for numerous accounts within the last 2 years. Lenders may feel that too many accounts will impact your ability to afford the repayments". I have checked my enquiries and out of the total of 25 enquiries logged, 10 were for Credit Health. That is almost half of the enquiries. On my report there are only 5 credit app type enquiries. I contacted Transunion this morning and was told that only the reports i run with them is not considered in the score.
I would like an official response in writing from CreditH. I am taking this matter further as i am disspointed about this and you should rather go directly to Experian/Transunion if you want a report!!!
