I am in the situation of having to replace my Note 2 and have decided to get a Note 3 and Gear.
However it seems like MTN do not want to retain my contract as they are simply unable or unwilling to answer their phones so that I can enquire if they have stock. Over the last few days I have being trying to reach the Westgate, Clearwater, Cresta and 14th Avenue stores with virtually no luck. When calls have been answered I have been advised to call back later as the computers are down or that they will call me back once they have checked stock availability. Needless to say I am still waiting.
I have even resorted to calling the MTN Head Office to be transferred to the store at their Head Office and that internal transfer went unanswered.
As a test, I called a competitor store and they answered immediately. Having being a loyal customer for many years I am now faced with the decision as to whether or not I stay with MTN or move to a competitor.
