I read my Club magazine which has Xmas gift ideas for Him and Her. No mention is made of the date of availability, nor the stores that the stock can be found. I went to the Cresta store as I was interested in a gift I saw in the Him section. Nobody at the store could help me find the stock. They promised to contact the Sandton branch to see if they had stock and call me back. Three hors later and back home... no call. I contacted the Head Office only to be told that the merchandise advertised is only available from the 9th December and they were unable to advise which stores would be receiving stock. I went on a "wild goose chase" today and will have to embark on another one on the 9th. Simply not good enough... also the staff are not educated as to the availability of the stock, in fact, they looked at the magazine and it seemed that they had no idea of these items and where to even locate them in the store. I am seriously unimpressed with this experience and I have been a loyal Edgars customer for 30 years.
