On Tuesday this week I misguidedly decided to upgrade my cellphone package.

I went off to MTN and got a new iPhone 5c. I was absolutely thrilled!! I was told I would need to go through the formality of doing a SIM swop in order to get a new nano SIM. I was told that it should take 2 hours and I would be up and running. I waited and waited and nothing happened!

The next morning I queried the progress of the transaction/service I had already paid for (I was not allowed to leave the shop until the transaction was completed - or it would not be completed), only to be told that nothing had happened and that it takes 24 hours and not the 2 hours I was led to believe! I contacted the store at Paddocks and was assured that all would be well and apologies all round. I waited and waited and NOTHING! No phone call, no SMS NOTHING! To make a long story short, I have been back to the store twice and make countless utterly fruitless calls and still 3 days later my SIM has not been swopped!

Unacceptable! I want to return my phone and cancel the upgrade and abandon my contract! I paid for a service I have not received!
