Dropped calls and Crossed lines

Dropped calls are a regular and very annoying problem.
However, I have recently been experiencing a new problem with calls on this network. Every now and again when I call someone on my contacts list, I get through to a completely different person - someone I don't know and have never called before. In these instances I have just hung up and called the person again and gotten through. Obviously, at added expense.
One afternoon I got really frustrated when I repeatedly called my partner during an emergency and the calls repeatedly went through to people I didn't know. Eventually, out of desperation, I called the vodacom call centre and the operator tested my partners number - it worked (I could hear the operator speaking to her). Having verified that my partners phone was receiving calls, she then asked me if I had made calls to other people that day, I said that I had. She then told me there wasn't a fault. I said that I didn't agree with her. I asked her if she would get someone else from Vodacom to call me about this complaint. She said she wouldn't as there was no fault to report.
