On the 4th of January I ordered a Dell laptop from the Vodashop in Tzaneen. They told me the to wait 5 work days for the delivery. After 6 work days I went to the shop and their response was "there is a shipment on the way, please come back later the afternoon or tomorrow". So I waited 2 days just to be sure. After 2 days the shop had the same excuse as they did 2 days before. They said they'll phone me when the laptop arrives. It's now officially been 33 days since I first placed the order and still I have no laptop. In the meantime a Vodacom Sales Direct marketer phoned my mom and offered the chance to take up a laptop contract through the Vodacom Direct system. She ordered a Dell laptop again. That same day the marketer emailed my mom with the terms and conditions which stated that my laptop will be delivered within 5-7 work days as soon as the Jhb branch confirmed the deal. It's been 11 work days now, still no laptop has arrived and we've also heard nothing from Vodacom regarding our deal.
