Vodacom - Contract i didnt apply for!!!

I am so tired of phoning and chatting and begging for some help by the Vodacom. I woke up one morning with a message on my phone saying that my contract was active... only problem is i never opened a contract. i have phoned numerous times and chatted with a few people on the Vodacom online chat and everyone give me the same response - " I will get our support team to phone you back" and no phone call yet, and its a month later.

I am very upset and i really think that i am going to change my service provider, i have no idea why i should Reca my Sim card if its so easy for someone else to just open a contract on my name. Dont they check cellphone numbers and ID's anymore?
