Vodacom - lack of customer service

I upgraded my vodacom contract in April/May 2013. Since then I have been receiving an influx of spam messages and marketing calls. I literally receive these msgs/calls everday. I contacted the call centre to have these messages stopped but there has since been no change. I also have a cell c contact and I do not have this problem at all. So the question is why I am receiving so much of spam and call centre calls on my vodacom sim and not my cell c... I am at the point of wanting to cancel this contract because i feel that since i changed to vodacom that my personal data has been distributed to marketing companies.
My second issue is that I contacted again the call centre to set a limit on my account. I was told that I could not do this telephonically, i needed to complete a form. the agent took down my details and was supposed to email me a form. To date I heard anything back until i recently received a call from vodacom however to ask if i was happy with the service so far. I said no and explained to the lady my issues. She said there was no record of the previous call i made but she would follow up an get back to me. Guess what... havent heard back from vodacom in a month
