Hello Peter, I am a very upset MTN customer. I did an upgrade with them literally 2 weeks ago. I received my handset with no issues. So I was given, what I thought was all the necessary information concerning my contract. I did what i was adviced to do, like putting soft lock on my phone because i had one of those limitless packages. To date my account is sitting on R1159.00 (remember i received my headset a week and a half ago) this is after my endless calls enquiring about why my bill wasn't stopped and why i did not receive the smses the consultant said il receive when my bill is on 75%, 90% and finely 100%.
Because i know you can change your package within a certain time period, I give them a call yesterday requesting that change and then im informed that no my package cant be changed because it was a promotional package. THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED TO ME. Instead this consultant asks me if i asked??? LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME, Im supposed to informed. Who buys a NEW car and asks if they can bring it back TOMORROW??? You dont expect it to have any problems with the car/phone/contract because you were "fully informed" and did the soft locking to have some sort of control.
