Change of contracts over the phone

I receive a telephone call from an agent of Vodcom. The guy informed me that I am qualified to migrate on my contract. Several times I told him that I do not want to change any thing of my contract because I know that there are always a catch in these types of deals. He guaranteed me over and over again that this will not change any form of my contract, only that I receive 250 sms's and that my talk time will be charged less per minute. After all the guarantees he gave me I decided to do the migrate my contract. Not even a month after that I went to Game for my cellphones contract's upgrade. That was then the salesperson informed me that my contract had been changed from a "Top up" contract to a "Smart M" package, and that I am going to be billed at the end of the month for my calls if the airtime is used up.
I am very upset with with because they always phone you while you are at work or on you way back from work in traffic. This causes a lot of confusion for the customers because you will never hear the full story over the phone. I will report them at the CPA, because they are not allowed to change your contract over the phone and without my signature. Can change within 80 days
