Vodacom passing the buck!!!

Hi

I have just recently upgraded my contract to a Vodacom plan which came with a Galaxy S4. Unfortunately my S4 mini fell and had its screen cracked. I was told of a warranty that Samsung gives for the Samsung products and approached Vodacare in Cresta.

After leaving my phone in for repair I was told that the motherboard was bent and it was beyond repair and they could do nothing about it. I had not placed my phone under insurance as yet and was extremely disappointed. A friend of mine recommended a repair shop in Randburg, I have paid them money and the phone is as good as being brand new again with nothing else damaged besides the screen.

It seems to me that Vodacom are passing the buck and leaving customers in the cold or have unskilled technicians. I feel really upset that Vodacom refused to repair my phone and still charged me a R57 handling fee.

How many other customers are they doing this too?

Really disappointed with the terrible and unknowledgeable service.
