I went to the Telkom shop yesterday to port my Cell C number to Telkom Mobile.

It all went quick and painless but now today when i put the sim in I noticed that it isn't the Sim Sonke sim but rather the old one where i'm charged R1.90 per minute.

I clearly remember telling the lady as she was filling in the form that I would like the 75c per minute one. Now I have already loaded R100 on this useless sim card.

When I phoned her this morning i asked her why i didn't get the sim sonke sim and her reply was that that isn't possible.

I went to Telkom website and under the sim sonke terms and conditions it clearly states that ports ins are allowed. I am now trying to fax that to this useless telkom store but the number as been busy for the past hour already. Not just the fax line but landline as well.

Absolutely useless. What a way to start with a new SP
