We are very disappointed with the latest experience with CELL C and the S4 mini handset.
It's a brand new contract, brand new handset and it came with MAJOR issues
Battery doesn't even last half a day, even though we charged it according to the book on day 1
Calling MTN numbers goes quiet, I hear myself, nothing else and minutes run up
Software hangs
Phone sometimes just crashes and shuts down
Operation between apps are extremely slow and you have to swipe multiple times for it to respond
Within 7 days I reported the issue and gave the phone back on the Monday after the Wednesday I received it.
I was told it was a battery issue and they insisted it needs to be sent in for repairs!
I MEAN seriously I JUST signed up for a new contract!!! This is pathetic! and I'm told all S4 Mini's has the same problems on CELL C
At this point I have no phone, will still be billed for my NEW contract and my brand new phone is in for repairs!
I am NOT going to accept this and demand a brand NEW and different handset like an IPhone or an S4
I left MTN and I joined CELL C because of all the adverts saying how great the network is and we're about to move 2 more contracts accross, not sure anymore!
