Application was made 1st week of July'13 for new installation of landline at Old Age Home
on R42 Meyerton/Heidelberg Gauteng. Namely: (Sedaven Retirement Village) There are numerous landlines on the premises. In fact, the unit had a landline removed before applicant moved in,
Applicant is disabled and visited "Telkom Direct" twice at Three River Square Mall, during this period to follow up and positive feedback was received. However, each time it's the same old story, "technical problem" when we dial 10210 for updates on progress.. Its taken 4 months.
Approximately 6 weeks ago, a technician arrived to test the line in the unit. He promised to be back within
a few days. To date, nothing has happened.
There is absolutely no agent available that can tell us what the current situation is.
