I phoned Telkom on the 6th Jan 2014 to order a line installation. I was informed that it will take an average of 21 work days for the technician to come out and that I will receive an sms for the date that it will be installed. That sms I only received on the 14th Jan stating that my installation is scheduled for the 24th Jan. On the 24th Jan at 5pm I phoned Telkom after no technician ever arrived. They stated that the installation was moved to the 21st Feb, then placed me on hold and never returned back to the call after I've held on for 5 minutes! The fact that the installation date has been moved without even giving any notification (email, sms, phone call) is completely unacceptable! I expect Telkom to come and install my line within the next 3 days due to the fact that it is already past my installation date before I will take this matter further!
