I applied for landline installation 2 years ago when I was renting, Telkom messed me around for almost 6 months before they said they cannot assist because the cirrect cabling didn't exist.
Now that I bougt a house, I thought of getting a landline installed.
I did a telephonic application.
To date, they cannot assist me because they only do installations between 8 and 4, working hours.
I took leave to have the installation done, and the technician doesnt pitch.
I called Telkom and the same thing happened again.
I am still waiting for a technician .. I have no leave left so I don't think this installation is ever going to happen.
One would think a big company like telkom will make provisions for working class individuals who wish to utilise their services.
Absolutely shameful!
