Taking a chance

On the 14th of October I received a phone call from Vodacom's "so called" Debit Collections Department.

They said that I have an outstanding account that needs to be paid (which I do but...) I asked them to send me a statement before I make any payments as these days you cant be too careful... They said that they had made a note on their system.

Today (04/11/2013) I received another phone call from them asking if I had managed to make a payment, I explained to the lady that I am still awaiting a statement before I make a payment and I refuse to pay something on "someone's" word. She explained to me that it can take up to a month as they need to get the statement from Standard Bank etc. I then repeated myself saying that I cannot pay something that I don't have any information of and she put the phone down on me without saying a word...

Now either this is a or the people working at this "collections" or just plan RUDE!!!
