Repair on NWZ-W202 Unit

The Sony NWZ-W202 Unit MP3 unit that I bought was faulty, battery only lasted a maximum of 1-2 hours and could not be charged fully... The Unit was sent in for repairs, the problem was that there were little to no communication from the branch during the repair process. After a view unpleasant visits and phone calls, Sony Menlyn said that the unit was to be replaced by a newer model since it could not be fixed and difficulties were experienced by this particular model. The branch also said that they were experiencing stock shortages, and said if they had available stock they could exchange the product with a newer model. The issue is that I've been waiting very long now and feel this is unacceptable, its been almost 5 months now.
