In March of this year I installed a new aircon unit and asked the same supplier (Pro Airconditioning and Refrigeration) to repair my faulty Carrier Unit. He said it needed a service and a new control card. I paid R350 for servicing and R500 for repairs to my indoor aircon unit. The repairs were sub standard and the owner requested a further R300 to replace the bearings. After 2 days the unit packed up (April 2013). Since April the owner promised to repair the unit but never kept a single appointment, and never return any of my calls (over 50 calls). Last week he called me and promised to fix the unit for and additional R650. I agreed to pay on completion of the job. He collected the unit for a day and returned the next day, and still the unit did not work. I made numerous calls and left a number of messages but he has failed to keep his promise. I suspect that my unit was taken for the new spares that they replaced and the old ones were put back and there was no intention to repair it in the first place. He also promised the unit will be repaired and replaced a 100% if he did not pitch up by 8h30 on 22n August 2013. He has not pitched up again!!
