Cannot get through to cancel contract

This is simply ridiculous!!! my contract ended in May 2013 and from then I cannot get through to someone to cancel my contract! now when I finally get through i'm told that i can only cancel at the end of November!!! this is such nonsense! i get no coverage in my area and havent used that sim since Februrary this year!

virgin mobile is really the worst network provider i have ever come across!
