End of contract

My contract of a phone ended in June 2013, but Virgin Active is still billing me stating that I need to go in one of their shops to cancel the contract. REALLY? who cancels a contract that has come to an end? This consultant told me that it is in their contract, good thing I keep my documents safe, I went home looked at that contract there is nothing that states that I have to go in and cancel the contract once it comes to an end.
How many people are they doing this to. Paying for contract that ended years ago.
