So much for providing a service

I have been living at Bulembu Airport for nearly 3 years with no signal problem at all, when all of a sudden approx. 2 months ago all individuals on the vodacom network were unable to receive signal. And by unable I mean phones read SOS PERMANENTLY. We called the service department and were told if we want it back we could give them R10 000 and they would fix the problem. What I dont understand is why all of a sudden the signal no longer exists when every few minutes my phone picks it up and the loses it again. This is utterly ridiculous as I am now unable to use a phone in my place of work as well as residence simply due to Vodacom. All other service providers still work but as I am on a contract I am unable to change providers.
