I received a new phone from Vodacom Direct. Three days later the phone hung. I took it to the Cresta Repair centre who said that it was a Out Of the Box Failure and they could not replace the phone as the phone came from Vodacom Direct. I sent an email Monday morning and then phoned and managed to get through mid morning and was promised someone will revert back to me within 2 - 3 days.By Thursday there was no response, so I had to phone again and spoke to a team leader, Andries who promised faithfully to revert back to me that afternoon. I am still awaiting his call. I phoned today only to be told that the file was closed due to "misfile error"? on their side and the process has to start again. I spoke to Pinkie this afternoon who took all my details again... I am now livid. Vodacom Direct was very quick to send the phone but now there is a problem, they are thinking of every excuse to not replace my phone. Have they been playing for time and waiting for the 7 days to expire so they do not have to replace the phone???
