Vodacom
Repairs, staff have no idea of what is going on

I took my handset in for repairs on Sunday as the screen had cracked:
1) When I took the phone, I was told by customer service that it could probably be fixed whilst I wait.
2) It took 1 hour to book the phone in and the lady at the desk had no idea what was going on with her own ticketing system.
3) I told the consultant to please ask the technician to please test the battery. He did not note my request. I asked him why, he responded that if repairs saw the battery with the phone, that they would know that it would need to be tested. I called the service centre and they didn't know that they had to test the battery.
4) Tuesday I called and the machine told me that the phone was being tested, today (Thursday) I was told that the phone had not yet been allocated to a consultant.
My phone has been at Vodacom for 5 days and has not been attended to yet and I keep on getting conflicting stories.
The irony is that they keep asking me how can they make me smile and ask me to rate their service. I report the poor service but they are unable to do anything about it.
