Iphone update failed, huge account

All iphone users were notified of software updates, and clear instructions given on how to download this. No warning is given on the size of the needed download. I ran up a R7000 bill, only to have a failed update after the download were done. Vodacom just said the call limit only kicks in after the end of the download, and all iphone users had trouble. This cannot be acceptable
