I have purchased an iPhone through CellC but noted recently that my cellphone was getting cut off and could no longer make outgoing calls. I contacted the call centre and increased my monthly limit only to have it exceeded again 2 days later. Upon further investigation I noted that my data usage was excessive. I work in a Wifi Zone do t do any updates via Cellular Data. I have logged queries with the CellC account / billing department but have still had no feedback. My previous iPhone didn't download this amount of information, why does the new one. Note: I do NOT have iCloud activated!
My query is twofold:
1) I signed up for a bundle including free additional 100 300MB deal, why have I only been allocated the standard 100MB?
2) Why is my Mail program downloading 797MB of data when I don't have an iCloud account? Previously I would only use 60 - 80 MB per month!
Please let me know as I cannot afford an extra R80 per day for my emails to download on my CellC iPhone.
