TELKOM REFUSES TO REPAIR CABLES

I have bought a unit in a complex and need a Telkom line, I went to the Silverton branch to apply and was told to pay R700.00 deposit before they send out the technician. A week later the technician arrives, he cannot find the cable, I had to call an electrician to assist the Telkom technician. They eventually found the line and discovered it was blocked. I then phoned Telkom and asked if they will come out and repair the cable and install my line and their reply is " You must call an electrician to install the line we do not have the facility to do the work " all these call outs are costing me huge amounts Now the point is I had phoned an electrician to quote me on the work to be done, he charges me a call out fee of R550.00 to see what the actual problem is and from there he will give me a quote to dig up the paving and replace the Telkom line at R400.00 per hour. The distance is 19 metres according to the electrician. In the meantime I have asked to speak to a manager at the Head Office of Telkom, he apparently was in a meeting, I left a message for him to call me and I still to this point have not heard a word from anyone at Telkom.
