I requested in April 2013 for my Telkom line to be transferred from Cape Town to Mossel Bay. In May the 1st technician came out to and said that I have to have pipes laid myself. I had to pay someone to do that. Then in June I went into Telkom direct at Langeberg Mall to complain that I am fed up of waiting a second technician was despatched who told me that he will fill out a work order for the Telkom guys to come out and lay the cable. July & August I complained again and lo and behold no service delivery. The cable guys rocked up in September to lay the cable and just left the cable hanging on the roof. I then got an sms from Telkom stating that my service will be connected on 1 October. No one pitched. Yesterday I got an sms stating that a technician will be installing my line today 2013 and it will be the whole day. The technician rocked up at 14h00 and left 10 min later. I was then told me that I need to get an electrician to pull the cable through. Are electricians now needed to do Telkom installations REALLY NOW. On top of that I still get billed for line rental that I have to pay so in essence I am paying Telkom adsl and line rental for NOTHING
