Lost my phone and don't want to replace

In September 2012 I went to the MTN store in Benmore to get my cracked HTC screen repaired (same store I had my upgrade done). The phone was booked in and was advised it would be sent to the repair centre which will call me to give me a quotation before they can start the repair work.

No call was received for the month of Sept I then went to the store and TK called the repair centre but they couldn't trace the phone. I called the repair centre myself and was advised that the phone was returned to the store without being repaired as they couldn't contact me.
I then went back to MTN and I was then advised beginning of this year that they had a break last year December 2012 and all units were and my phone could have been a part of the phones.

I have been back and forth at MTN trying to get my phone back, they eventually decided to give me a loan unit which I have been using since mid April 2013 (Samsung S2).

My issues are that I have been without a phone for over six months between Sept 2012 and April 2013 yet I was paying for the contract subscription, I have been inconvenienced because I need the phone for work purposes.

The WORST & MOST UNFAIR SERVICE!
