Vodacom
Vodacom Big Corporate Bullies

Hi,

On 15 September 2013 at 14:05, I took my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini into the Centurion Mall Store to be repaired. I was given job number 9201555-52118885. The only thing wrong with my phone is that the screws in the back of my phone kept on coming loose. The screen is working perfectly fine, all the side buttons are working perfectly fine. Only the screws at the back of the phone kept on coming loose, meaning it is a manufacturing error and the screws are most probably stripped.

I received a call today, 18:15, from your repair centre informing me that it is going to cost me R1 200.00 to repair my phone, as the LCD is cracked. As I only get the phone on 12 December 2012, it should still be under warranty. Also as my screen is working perfectly fine I do not understand how the LCD can be cracked. I then contacted the Centurion Mall Store to find out what is going on and was told that the screen first needs to be replaced before the screws can be fixed and that the phone is not under warranty anymore.

So now I need to pay Vodacom R1 200.00 to fix something that is working, before you will repair a manufacturing error? How does that work? Please contact me ASAP!

Regards
Roelien
