So... Had a technician over, two days in a row. Discovered fault was in the "box" atop a telephone pole. Speed went from 0.56 - 1.92MB after two days... Technician said that the problem is now the "noise on the line" and that it needs to be fixed by Telkom. Told that it is high priority and will be fixed ASAP. Also received a text saying following: TELKOM ADSL restored. Reply to this SMS within 24 hours with NO if service is still faulty else YES... Replied NO and haven't heard a word.
I guess Telkom really do not care
