It seems that the only way to actually get any response from Telkom is to continue to complain on HelloPeter.
My complaint from 16/10 https:///telkom/complaints/no-sense-of-urgencyone-month-later-1220078 where I got a response from HOSEA MAGANO at the "ESCALATION CENTRE" to say that my problem was receiving the highest priority after receiving mails from Pynee Chetty, Mangaka Thabanchu and Hennie Swart, had to be chased up by another complaint on Oct 21: https:///telkom/complaints/no-urgency-part-4-1224790 where I got another response from Innocentia Tsoku saying that they were "still working on resolving my issue"
After calling today to find out what was going on, I was told that my fault (number 42ARK221013) was closed!! I still have virtually no ADSL speed at home! I've signed up for a 4MB line and am lucky to get 0.7MB on a daily basis.
Have a new fault number now (90CRK301013) and have given up holding on the phone after waiting 45 mins with no answer.
TELKOM: I AM TIRED OF THIS NONSENSE! Do not mail me and call me to tell me how important this is and that it's still open. Stop lying! GET IT FIXED. I will keep using this site
