I cancelled a contract in November 2011. Was told last debit would go off my account on 1 December. Debit order was successful. Vodacom debited my account again on 1 January 2012. There were no funds available. When Vodacom contacted me, I explained that they should not have debited me in the first place. the consultant became irate. Vodacom then listed a "default" on my credit report and refuses to remove it. I am tired of taking it up with them and their "debt collectors" who have never even contacted me prior to listing.
