In August I went for a phone upgrade at the MTN Store in Campus Square. Intially i was on a MTN TopUp 100 contract plan and I wanted to upgrade to a MTN TopUp 200 contract plan which Franchelle agreed and through the paper with me. A week passed and i wanted to loaded airtime for Data Bundles it gave an error to contact Customer Service, but when I checked my Current Spend account it kept on increasing, so i decided to go back to the MTN store to query the issue and it is than that Franchelle told me that I was the MTN TopUp 200 contract PLUS the "OpenPlan'' that I was not noticed about and did not agree too, so I told her that she did not tell tell me about OpenPlan and I do not want it as i do not want debts since i was currently unemployed. She told me give her my numbers and she would log a call with MTN to stop the service since she didn't me about it. Weeks passed and I kept on going back to the store for feedback and she just told me that: "It's a slow process and there's nothing she can do". Last month MTN has debted R730 on my account and that is way far above budget. I am unhappy with the service and i plan on closing my contract and moving to another Service Provider.
