Purchased Gallaxy S4 08/08 the phone started heating up. 19/09 the phone was unusable - I took it to Samsung - Samsung told me that because I got the device through Vodacom I would need to see them.
*23/09 The device was handed in to Vodacom (Pine Crest Center - Pinetown), the manageress of the store was one of the rudest people I have ever met in the service industry. It was explained that because the device was older than a week it would need to be sent for a service. The Vodacom staff seemed to take great joy in my frustration that all my website numbers/banking number was connected to that phone and I did not have a replacement.
*28/09 The phone was returned from the repair centre and was still over heating - because the shop was busy they could not help me and told me to deal with it again on Monday.
*03/10 Samsung told me that if I took the phone back to Samsung Smart Care Centre and it was still faulty they would replace the device.11/10 I collected a new device from Samsung Smart Care Center.
I have tried repeatedly to get feedback from Vodacom, nobody from Vodacom has contacted. I have had to incur all the costs during this ordeal.
DISGUSTING SERVICE VODACOM!!!
