I received a Galaxy s4 on friday 20/09/2013 after waiting a week. I switch on the device on friday evening and realised there is no sound on the device. I tried to phone FNB and saw they only open monday to friday and i phone them today and then fnb told me to hardware reset the device while i am on the phone. Then he realised there is a hardware fault on my device. They told me to phone samsung. I phoned samsung and they said there is definitely a hardware fault. They told me to phone broght point and i once again explained everything to them and then they asked me why do i phone them because FNB should sort it out for me. I then phoned FNB once again and they said they will email the people of the smart device department and they will collect the phone but they have to get the old device and once they have it they can send me a new one. I told him that i am in the seven day return period and they should send me a new device when they come and collect the faulty one. They said i cant talk to the smart device return people. I know this is going to be a very long struggle again. If they don't call me back today i will cancel they contract and go to a cell c store and get one there.
