I applied for a new contract over the phone - very easy. My new iPhone 5 and Nano sim was delivered on Wednesday 9 October. I phoned for the sim to be activated at around 17:00. Up to now, Saturday 12 October (72 hours later) the sim is still not working. I can make calls, but when someone tries to phone my new number (076 183 8791) it says number does not exist. I have phoned customer care numerous times, every time I get the same promises that it will be sorted and someone will come back to me... I'm still waiting! Wish I could make such promises to Vodacom to pay my account!
